Baby Room
This age group has their own seperate area where they can participate in a range of informal activities. .
The babyroom has been designed with peaceful, subdued colours in mind to help relax and comfort the babies at rest.
There is a basic daily routine in the baby room but this is very flexible and takes into account each child's individual needs. Where possible the baby's day includes activities such as painting, sticking and messy play to develop their creative skills. |

The babies have the benefit
of a stimulating room with varied, age-appropriate play equipment.
These include: Soft play toys, shape sorters, beanbags and sensory
play to encourage coordination and social skills. We also provide
sit and ride toys, tunnels, balls etc, to encourage walking
and gross motor development.
We will always keep you fully informed of your child's progress
through a daily information sheet and regular parents evenings
where you can talk to your key worker.
Nappies will be checked regularly throughout the day and changed
as often as needed. Parents are required to supply nappies for
their child's needs.
Parents are also required to supply formula milk, already made
up in bottles, for their baby. When your child is ready to begin
weaning please see your room staff who will talk you through
our menu and plan which foods you would like us to introduce
and when.
Before a child moves on to the next room your key worker will
discuss the best way to approach this with you.
